*insert face palm here* you dont pick object with the vertex set selected, you click on the oiriginal polygon you are working on, then morpher, then click on the first channel, then pick up from scene, click on the copy of the original polygon, then on the second channel you press h and pick the vertex set

could you tell me exactly what are you doin? ok 1. create .dae, ddv mdl0,vertex.ddf (just like in the vid) 2. import DDV 3. import .dae 4. load script and pres "fix ais" 5. then hide everything thats not selected 6. press create patch and select "vertex.ddf" 7. edit 8. unhide everything and delete all polygons im not using or unedited 9. patch model (this is were i noticed the 4 extra verts show up) 10. morph the verts to the patch (if it lets me) 11. load in brawl box and it looks like crap well, that´s not exactly how you vertex in 3DS Max 8 in 3DS Max 8 1.-Create .dae, export the vertex set(not as .ddf!) and the mdl0 file 2.-import .dae 3.- load script and fix Ais import 4.-Hide Unselected 5.-EDIT 6.-Clone polygon you are working on 7.-Uncheck the Light bulb next to "edit mesh" 8.-On the script, import the vertex set 9.- On the polygon you are editing( not the copy) go to morpher, select first channel and click on the copy, then second channel, press h and select the vertex set 10.- Up both channels values up to 100 and then on the script export verts, then choose the MDL0 file 11(Porbably needed).- If the left arm or leg or foot is deformed, you might have to double patch (but first export normaly before i tell you)
