Mariodk is making the rest of Vegeta's PSA... Make of that what you will.
Anyway... It's too bad more complex looking final smashes are impossible... It would have been interesting to have Metal Overlord in there... But, his model would likely cause massive lag... Plus what would he do? Go in the background and throw stuff at you? <_> But yeah... Whatever you come up with SDo0m, it should be interesting.

if you want, I can get the Metal Overlord or Metal Madness models from Heroes, rig the on Landmaster with a custom bone-set and everything.

I just noticed. What about his throws?
A few things come to mind.
G-Jab: Metal mercilessly punches with hooks, causing damage (hook, as in, throwing a right or left hook).
F-Throw: Metal tosses them into the air and fires a laser from his chest immediately after. His weakest throw in terms of KB.
B-Throw: Metal performs a high kick, fending them flying.
D-Throw: Metal will viciously drag the opponent against the ground, causing damage, before spinning around and letting them go low to the ground. The KB is similar to Sonic's D-Throw.
U-Throw: Metal will punch them twice, lifting them a little into the air with each punch, before launching them into the air with a flip kick!
What do you think of these ideas?

For a final smash, a (very basic) Idea for that would be to have him transform into Neo Metal Sonic, and have new/powered up moves (A-La your Cloud PSA). But if you could somehow get his Metal Overlord model involved somehow, that would be amazing.

awesome now just mecha sonic from SMBZ/a old sonic game i forgot where he was from that will be a good alt. outfit for metal sonic too

Any ways, nice animations SDoom. All ways top notch, your psa ideas excite me man. Looking forward to a psa preview.

Fantastic preview. To me the most basic animations are the most important and they look great. I do like how some of them resemble real sonics movements =D
One thing that would be cool though would be to make his turnrun animation into something more comical, since hes a super fast robot why not have him dig his hand into the ground to stop his movement and proceed to fling himself in the opposite direction. It would just be more badass =P not sure if you could fit something like that into such a short animation though.
Anyways good luck with everything else.

Can I ask you a serious question, SDoom?
How do you make your animations so quickly and with such quality? I ask because I'll spend like four hours on a wait animation and still not be satisfied with it.
Like, do you have a technique? I'm sure every animator has their own style, I just want to see how different our styles are.
Just curious. :]
I don't care too much for the character of Metal Sonic, but those animations are still enough to capture my interest. Keep up the good work.

Nano, not sure if I can get you that Sonic Heroes model of the giant robot for the final smash I'm trying here, but every Heroes model turns into goop like that Egg Carrier SDo0m, are there any Sonic CD references I skipped over by accident?
