ASF1nk, I have a question. I thought the whole purpose of changing the character select icons so that you can put all of the characters names together, like a puzzle. Looking at the preview it looks small and disorganized. I got that idea from looking at a made up SSBB CSS WAY before SSBB was released: img57.imageshack.us/img57/207/11455584209350er.jpgYes, the shapes are facing a different direction, but the though still comes to mind. You should, if possible, enlarge the character selection icons and put them all together.

I assume ASF1nk will be doing that but he put up previews of what he's done so far, it doesn't really need to be said that he should slot the icons together, that was kinda a given. ASF1nk, Brilliant progress, you're really pulling out all the stops for this project aren't you.

Thanks Segtendo =] And slawter is right, that was just a preview of what I had so far. Icons will be all together; hence the 'honeycomb' style. The only problem is the layout... I have not decided on one yet. And I can't really preview each idea I have in game as positioning the icons is really time consuming. I think I might give up on the Alloys having their own icons. I don't know if it is me but PAT0 editing is still not close to perfect and it is acting up on me. Worse thing is BlackJax refuses to work on it. [Maybe if we all bug him on his thread...jk] Basically icon Pattern keys go from 0-50 or Mario-Random with some keys being skipped over for being unused I guess. If you add a texture with key 51+ and sort it after the Random texture the game freezes. But if you sort the texture before the Random the game doesn't freeze, but nothing shows up. In another weird way if you take a texture with a key less than 50 and sort it after Random, the Random texture glitches up. Again I might just be doing something wrong, but so far this means no custom icons for cloned characters. =[ tl;dr nothing important

So here is the deal... We are going to have little contest. Basically, you make your own CSS layout with the .PSD provided. Rules: -Entry deadline: Saturday November 26 @ 11:59 PM. -Post here as a .png image. -2 entries per person. -You may use or not use all of the 50 icons. -You may use or not use the survival mode icon -Every layout is going to be voted on in a poll. -Top 5 will make it to the final poll. -I will pick one from the final top 3. -I reserve the right to use and edit any of the top 3 layouts. [If I don't like any of the top 3 I might not use them.] Winner: Gets layout used and gets credit.
